Hello, I’m Sherry.

CHIEF INSPIRATION OFFICER

awareness agent | change navigator | dream manager

30 Years of Experience

From Chief Information Officer to Chief Inspiration Officer

In April 2024, I retired from my role as a Fortune 200 executive at one of the world’s most admired companies, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Akron, Ohio. As Chief Information Officer for nine years, I led IT innovation that positioned Goodyear for the digital era.

While my Global IT strategy was very much focused on digital-first, cloud-first, and machine-first — my leadership was always people-first. I was a human-first CIO because I believe that innovation thrives in ecosystems where people feel empowered to create, learn, and grow—fueled by leadership, trust, and connection.

Now, as Chief Inspiration Officer of The Symbiotic Collective, I’m redefining what it means to lead. I founded this company because I have more to give—and because I know that coaching is one of the most powerful tools for transformation. It’s not just an investment; it’s a gift—one that expands possibilities for individuals, teams, and organizations.

I give help because I got help. . .

I didn’t get here alone. None of us do.
Along the way, I had the support of family, friends, colleagues, mentors, professors, agencies, and coaches. Some might say I was lucky to reach the highest level of professional success in my field, and maybe I was.

But I also know this: luck is not a solo endeavor.

I benefited from multiple coaches throughout my career—each one helping me see more clearly, think more expansively, and act more courageously. Now, I’m paying that forward.

Let’s explore what’s possible—together.

Conscious. Connected. Complete.

About The Symbiotic Collective

Symbiotic: We are all interconnected—our growth, choices, and leadership ripple beyond what we can see.
Collective: We are not just individuals; we are part of something greater, shaping and impacting one another.

My own Gestalt journey transformed me, leaving me with a deep sense of awareness, connection, and wholeness. Through The Symbiotic Collective, my goal is to help the leaders of tomorrow cultivate consciousness and connection—so that their leadership extends far beyond them, creating positive change in ways neither of us may ever witness.

How It All STARTED

Founder Origin Story

I’m from Akron, but my journey has taken me far beyond it. I’ve lived in three U.S. states and across the Atlantic in Luxembourg, Europe—experiences that shaped my perspective and deepened my understanding of connection across cultures and communities. I’m a lifelong learner with a deep passion for expanding access, creating opportunities, and elevating voices that might otherwise go unheard. I love shoes and books, and I invest in the community that invested in me.

But my life today looks very different from how it began. I overcame a challenging childhood and broke the cycle of poverty and dysfunction. I’ve often been asked: How did I make it when so many others in similar circumstances didn’t? I’ve asked myself that same question, over and over.

I believe we are each born with unique gifts, perfectly suited for the path we are meant to walk. Some of mine revealed themselves early—a sharp mind, a deep curiosity, and the ability to see connections where others saw obstacles. In many ways, these gifts helped me navigate difficult circumstances. But talent alone isn’t enough. To survive, I learned to adapt creatively, making sense of a world that didn’t always make sense to me. Those adaptations served me—until they didn’t.
